The Quatech ETR-RS232 extends regular RS-232 Signals over standard cat 5 cable (UTP cable). Using a transmitter and receiver pair, the RS-232 signals can be extended to a range of 1000 meters/3300 feet. The ETR-232 is compatible with all RS-232 products and supports full duplex comms
