The MOPS/520 from Kontron is a highly integrated 586-class CPU board. The MOPS / 520 is a new PC/104 module, fitting perfectly into the PC/104 family of the JUMPtec PC/104 range. It incorporates the AMD SC520 133 MHz processor and offers high performance as well as very many connection types such as 4xCOM (3xRS232,1xTTL), USB, 10/100 MBit Ethernet as well as PC/104 expansion. Because of the design, low power consumption is achieved meaning that the SC520 does not require active cooling.
The board follows the standard Kontron MOPS PC/104 form-factor including pinout/connector placement with keyboard, COM1 and COM2 as well as 44pin IDE and LPT enabling easy upgrade within the Kontron PC/104 range. This version has 32MB of onboard soldered memory. In connection with the fixed bootable chipDISK you will have a complete system even for the toughest environments.
Note that all this board is supplied with no memory or cables
Note that this version of the board, despite the picture does not have PC/104plus (PCI) expansion or CAN bus.
