The unique Panel I/O Board system provides industry standard I/O connectors for the I/O on the DSC Athena II, Athena and Prometheus single board computers, including the following interface connectors.
- Four USB ports
- Eight serial ports (four from CPU board, four from optional I/O card)
- One VGA port
- Two 50 pin DAQ connectors (one from CPU board, one from optional I/O card
- Ethernet jack
- PS/2 keyboard and mouse
- Four USB ports
Status LEDs and PC speaker are also included. On the underside of the panelboard are additional headers where four additional serial ports and additional DAQ connector are routed to - these can be connected to other boards in the PC/104 stack
Note - the ATHM800-256A has a high profile heatsink, which prevents the PNL-EAP-01 from mating with the board - use the ATHM500-256A or ATHM800-256ALP
