Pandora is an enclosure system designed by Diamond Systems for use with the PNL-EAP panel I/O board mated to a Athena or Athena II CPU board. It features fast and easy assembly due to the fact that most or all internal cables can be eliminated. Rather than requiring the installation of special corner mounts or forcing the stack into a set of corner guides, the entire stack is bolted directly to the front plate of the case, forming a rugged, easily-handled assembly.
This 7.0" (178mm) case can accommodate the SBC, panel I/O board, up to eight additional PC/104 boards and an optional notebook hard drive.
Each Pandora case includes:
- Case body (7.0" height for this product)
- Front plate with cutouts for the PNL-EAP-01
- PNL-EAP-01 panel board
- Rear plate with no cutouts
- All required mounting hardware (screws and spacers)
Note - the ATHM800-256A has a high profile heatsink, which prevents the PNL-EAP-01 from mating with the board - use the ATHM500-256A or ATHM800-256ALP.
