This x1 lane, standard profile PCI Express serial card offers 4 ports of RS- 232/422/485 connectivity, compatible with any PCI Express slot. Each port features 3kV optical isolation. The Connect Tech BlueStorm/Express cards are compatible with x1, x4, x8 and x16 lane PCI Express slots. Upgrading a PCI system to the more efficient PCI Express requires a hardware change only - your new PCI Express system is backwards compatible with your PCI software.
